The Olive Oil

PYLAON extra virgin olive oil is produced in Greece on the Messinian Earth (Nichoria). The prefecture of Messinia has a tradition of producing high quality olive oil lost over the centuries. The Mediterranean climate, the sun of Greece that overflows the olive trees and the good wind that drives the fruit-filled branches give them an olive oil whose reputation and quality stand out for many years. The olives are hand-picked by the trees of the Nichora Land.

PYLAON extra virgin olive oil has two versions, one derived from the olive variety “Koroneiki“, which produces light green oil and the other comes from the olive variety “Kalamon“, which produces dark green oil. The fruit is pressed at a temperature of less than 30 ° C without any delay after harvest.

The olive oil is made in a state-of-the-art model that follows the standards of ELOT EN ISO 22000: 2005 while the bottling is carried out in a bottling plant with unique identification number EL-40-192. PYLAON olive oil, as shown by the chemical results, has a very low acidity (below 0.6%), which classifies it as one of the best and highest quality olive oil in Greece. Olive oil is rich in nutrients and vitamins, as shown by nutritional analysis in specialized chemical laboratories.
